Glypho Open Sources Novel Writing

By Steve Rubel
Expert Author
Article Date: 2006-01-17

Here's a new site I learned about via email (see, Steve learns). It's called Glypho.

It's another content marketplace, but this one is modeled after a novel writer's thought process. Users submit a plot framework and others built characters and flesh it out. The copyright belongs to its contributors and is governed by a Creative Commons License.

Nice idea, but again, what's the business model? I don't mean to be a downer, but it eludes me. Let's hope they find one that's crash-free. (Hint: Stay away from selling online ads.)
