Google Earth Updates To International Data Coverage

Word on the street has it that Google has added loads of new data to the offerings available for viewing via Google Earth.

Recent additions include (but are not limited to) much coverage of Western Europe courtesy of imagery from Digital Globe; high-res imagery (2004) for Paris, and imagery (2005) for Amsterdam, Assen, Houten, The Hague, Zeist, Wassenaar Waterland; World placenames, borders, and island names, Alternative language placenames (French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, English) - apparently the data used for international/national borders plus global places names comes via Europa Technologies Ltd. - nice to see these additions and some cool deals have obviously been struck with the data providers.
